The three goddesses: Aphrodite, Demeter and Athena

Zacharias

Zacharias traces the quotation from Wilhelm Reich all the way back to three goddesses of Greek mythology.

Athena, after whom the capital of Greece is named, has become an international symbol of wisdom, the arts, and classical learning (Wikipedia, 2022). Aphrodite, pictured in the centre, is "associated with love, lust, beauty, pleasure, passion, and procreation" (ibid.). Demeter, at the very bottom of the picture, is responsible for “harvest and agriculture” but also for “crops, grains, food and the fertility of the earth” She represents the "wise woman of the earth" and thus the mother goddess (ibid.).

Wikipedia, as a Third Place of collective knowledge, invites us to go even further on a journey of discovery.
